Washing chemicals for technical clothing are gentle on all the materials in your clothes. Whereas normal detergents may do damage, you’ll feel confident with the right Nikwax product.
Impregnating chemicals restore the water repellency for the surface material. Membrane clothing always relies on the internal membrane for water protection, but their surface fabrics have, too, been impregnated. This impregnation wears out as the garment is used and washed, but is easy to renew when needed. Just follow the instructions in the packaging and you’re good to go!
